Jeff Ponders II has built a career infusing innovation, creative strategy, and infectious energy across many industries. Over the past 15 years, he has led marketing and innovation strategy for brands such as Walmart, Campbell's, and General Motors. With experience in tech, automotive, CPG, and more, Jeff launched The Better Company to help ambitious brands understand their customers, establish their unique place in the market, and develop profitable business models and creative products.
In addition to advising large brands, Jeff maintains intimate engagement in the entrepreneurial community. A serial entrepreneur, he regularly advises entrepreneurs and growth-stage businesses on strategy, customer development, branding, marketing, and product development. Most recently, Jeff joined Detroit entrepreneurial hub TechTown Detroit as an Entrepreneur in Residence.
A graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Jeff resides in Metro Detroit with his wife and children. He performs regularly as a professional saxophonist and helps organizations unlock peak performance by through jazz-inspired innovation and creativity.
